Every Thursday, Belle walks into Ooh La La and settles into Nadine's chair. She has been Nadine's client for 35 years, and at this point she's part of the family. When someone stays with the same stylist for three and a half decades, it says a lot about the stylist. It also says a lot about what happens when you find the right salon.
For nearly two decades, Ooh La La has been a hair salon in El Cajon and serving the greater San Diego area, including Santee, Alpine, La Mesa, and beyond. Our salon is built around its people. Our team is full of talented stylists and artists, and each of them brings her own expertise, personality, and energy into the space. Nadine, Our Salon Mom and Master Stylist
Nadine has been with Ooh La La for more than 15 years, and she is a true master stylist. Her clients stay with her for decades, and Belle's 35 years in her chair is the best proof there is. Her skill and her steady presence set the tone for all of us.
Laura, Our Resident Free Spirit Rockstar
Laura has been part of the team for more than 15 years, and she's the one reminding everyone to breathe and slow down on the busiest days. She has a gift for teaching, and whatever any of us need to know about hair (and life, too), Laura is who we ask, she also is always singing to us in salon and on stage too. Laura is truly multi-talented!
Jackie, Our Permanent Makeup and Brow Artist
Jackie is everyone's friend in the salon and an artist in every sense of the word. Her room up front is the one where the door is always closed, and it's where clients fly in from all over the country to have Jackie do their permanent makeup and brows. After more than 15 years with us, her work speaks for itself.
Faith, One of Our Rising Stars
Faith's Ooh La La story started at our front desk when she was still in high school. She went on to college, then cosmetology school, and ten years after she first joined us, she's one of our rising stars behind the chair. She's always smiling, always going the extra mile, and her warm, thoughtful personality makes every appointment feel personal.
